1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is CONTOUR, based in Costa Rica. For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact hello@contourcmo.com or +506 8532 9657.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you submit through our forms (name, email, phone, country, social handles, website, practice description, message content) and basic technical metadata (IP-derived country, browser user agent, page visited) for security, analytics and abuse prevention. We do not collect special categories of data and we do not request patient health information.
3. How we use your information
We use it to respond to your inquiry, deliver a requested brand audit, send you the proposal or content you asked for, support an active engagement, send transactional emails (acknowledgement, support replies, invoicing) and improve the Site. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Legal basis
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, our legal bases are: (a) your consent when you submit a form, (b) performance of a contract for active engagements, (c) our legitimate interest in operating and securing the Site, and (d) compliance with legal obligations such as accounting and tax.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use first-party privacy-respecting analytics to count visits and understand which pages perform. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. You can block cookies in your browser without losing core functionality.
6. Sharing with third parties
We share information only with service providers needed to run our business (hosting, email delivery, database, payment processing, customer support tools). These providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the services we contract with them.
7. International transfers
Our infrastructure providers may store and process data outside your country, including the United States and the European Union. We rely on the data-protection safeguards offered by those providers (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.
8. Retention
We keep lead and audit data for as long as needed to follow up on your request and for our legitimate business records. Active client records are kept for the duration of the engagement and for the period required by applicable tax and contract law. You can ask us to delete your data sooner — see Your rights.
9. Security
We use modern infrastructure with encryption in transit, role-based access controls and row-level security on our database. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage you to use a strong password if you have an account.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, port, restrict or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent. Email hello@contourcmo.com to exercise these rights; we'll respond within 30 days.
11. Children
Our services are intended for professionals and clients aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
13. Contact
